Carolyn Schmidt Arvay Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Paul and Marie Schmidt; her sons, Alan and David; her siblings, Dorothea Ackerman, Lois Wenger, Paul Schmidt and Louis Schmidt; and her siblings-in-law, MaryEsther Carman, Don Ackerman, Dick Carman and Earl Wenger.

She is survived by: her child Halloween; her husband Art; her daughter Jan; her son-in-law Jon Lindsay of Archbold; her grandchildren, Jayson (Christina) of West Chester, Jennifer of Ashland and Jessica of Archbold; and her sisters-in-law, Lucy Schmidt of Wooster and Shirlie Schmidt of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by her loving husband of over 62 years, her family members and many friends.

Lyn was a talented seamstress having spent many years making clothes for her children, Halloween costumes for her grandchildren, and recently making masks for the Covid-19 pandemic.
