She was predeceased by: her father Leroy Caskey; and her stepfather Sam Witmer. She is survived by: her mother Mary Witmer; her daughters, Crystal Barr of Wooster and Brittany Wilcox-Saxon (Jeff) of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Hallie Wilks, Damion Fetters, Holdan Wilcox, Anthony Barr and Gabriel Quinteros; and her siblings, Deb Neuhaus, Larry Hurn, Majel Basil (Arlindo), Kim Owen (Rick), Brian Caskey, Warren Caskey (Heidi), Becky Caskey, Rosemarie Caskey and Amy Thompson (Chad). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McIntire Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home (216 E Larwill St, Wooster, OH 44691). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online to the Lower Great Lakes Chapter of the National Scleroderma Foundation, in honor of Cheryl and her 37-year fight against scleroderma.
