He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; and his siblings, Prem, Herman, Lawrence, Franklin, Rueben, Pauline, Lena, Margaret, Angeline and Marie.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Jackson (Bill) of Orrville and Clyde Sampsel Jr. of Wooster; his grandchildren, Jamie Neely (Brett) of Florida and Lora Wachtel of Orrville; his great grandchildren, Nora and Oliver Wachtel; and his sister Madeline Pierce of Jeromesville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel (7067 Cleveland Rd, Wooster, OH 44691). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
