He is survived by: his wife Marcella Key Skinnell; his son Mike Skinnell (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Emily Cole (Wade) and Brian Skinnell (Elizabeth); his daughter Patricia Musci (Greg); his grandchildren, Megan, Chris (Tyler) and Nicholas Musci; his brother-in-law Maurice "Bucky" Key; August and Levi Cole.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1140 W Lynchburg Salem Turnpike, Bedford, VA 24523). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Updike Funeral Chapel (1140 W Lynchburg Salem Turnpike, Bedford, VA 24523). A burial was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1311 Park St, Bedford, VA 24523).
