He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth "Betty Lou" Kish Balint. He is survived by: his father Edward P. Balint of Wooster; his wife Marilyn Wirt; his daughter Lauren Balint of Los Angeles, CA; his siblings, Peter Balint of Wooster, Kristen Halpin (Scott) of Wooster and Edward Balint (Traci) of Akron; and his siblings' children, Bradac Halpin of Wooster, Elissa Halpin of Wooster and Paige Balint of Akron.
