He was predeceased by: his parents, True Howman and Alice Howman (Glasgow); his son Edward Howman; and his siblings, True Duane Howman, Twila Lewis and Bonnie Reisinger.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Howman; his daughter Theresa Pete (Lance); his daughter-in-law Linda Howman (Doug McClure); his grandchildren, Rachelle Howman (Blake), Nick Howman (Abby) and Phillip Howman; his great grandchild Lincoln Howman; his brother Lester Howman; and his brother-in-law Alvin Reisinger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matteson Funeral Home (40 Congress Rd, West Salem, OH 44287). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the West Salem Cemetery.
