She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Tumelty and Isabella Tumelty (McCartney); her spouse Archer Purvis; her children, Perry Purvis, William Purvis and Juanita Capell; and her siblings, Isa, Minnie, Evelyn, Geordie, Malcom, Arthur and Bobbie.
She is survived by: her son David Purvis (Mary) of Wooster; her grandchildren, Colleen (Warren), Kyle (Nadine), Eileen, Cody, Keely, Keegan and Keeton; and her sister June McCrossen. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the East Union Cemetery (5090 Lincoln Way E, Wooster, OH 44691).
