He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Mast and Marie Mast (Beyeler); his former wife Emma Hoke (Stonesifer); his wife Lucille Falb; and his siblings, John Mast and Lois Krieder (late Nelson).
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Mast of Sturgis, MI, Ed Mast (late Sara) of Dalton, Dave Mast (late Connie) of Ashland and Kathy Gerber (Mark) of Orrville; his grandchildren, Joel Mast (Holly), Nate Mast (Ashley), Caleb Mast (Allison), Kendra Mast, Andrew Mast (Jocelyn), Janelle Richey (Matt), Aaron Mast (Hannah), Kent Mast, Rachel Mast (Jon) and Justin Gerber (Sarah); his siblings, Ruth Detweiler (late William), Marilyn Schlabach (late Roy) and Ken Mast (Kathy); and his sisters-in-law, Lois Newcomer (Lynn), Lorene Amstutz (Gordon) and Judy Falb (late Larry). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smithville Mennonite Church (6097 Akron Rd, Smithville, OH 44677). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
