She is survived by: her children, Vicky R. Steele (Michael), James Curry, Claverian C. and Stacy L.; her grandchildren, Christopher, Veronica, Trammell, Damion, Brandon, Quintin (Lauren), Ronetrie, Jasmine (Roberto), Duke (Emily), Niya, Timia (Asa), Candis, Hannah and Rebekah; her cousin Ethel; her siblings, Roy "Butch" Coleman (Diana) of Garden City, Toni Coleman of Akron and Michael Perkins of Washington; and her close friends, Henry Davis, Patsy Price, Elizabeth Anne Saunders and Ernestine House.
