She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford A. Stanford and Margra L. Stanford (Sigler); her husband Gerald W. "Jerry" Young; her children, Richard Arthur Young and Cynthia S. Stauffer; her granddaughter Laura; and her siblings, Elizabeth Burgan, Francis Kaufman, Kenneth Stanford and Clifford A. Stanford, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney W. Young (Brenda) of Wooster and Brad L. Young (Eunice) of Wooster; her grandchildren, Cody, Cigi, Larry and Nick; and her sister-in-law Betty Phillips (Barry) of Apple Creek. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Custer-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (2284 Benden Dr, Wooster, OH 44691). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at the Nashville Methodist Church Cemetery.
