She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Smith and Hattie Mae Smith (Gates); and her siblings, Martha Johnson, Phyllis Porter, Bettie Johnston, Mary Smith and John Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Arliss J. Gorby; her children, Jennifer Brundage (Eric) of Claremont, Larisa Fiorita (Vince) of Wooster, Christopher Gorby (Kathy) of Virginia Beach, Douglas Gorby (Ellen) of Chelsea and Bruce Gorby of Avon Lake; her grandchildren, Kathy, Bobby, Ariana, Emma, Vincent, Forrest and Tallulah; and her siblings, Emmett Smith Jr. (Karen) of Nashville, Gary Smith of Daytona Beach and Terry Smith (Jane) of Nashville, Indiana.. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
