James R. Jones Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Jones of Wooster, Ohio, who passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jones and Marion Jones (Richards); his parents-in-law, Emil and Margaret Baxstrom; and his siblings-in-law, Ted Baxstrom and Kim Baxstrom.

He is survived by: his wife Margie of Wooster; his sons, Andy and Danny Jones; his grandchildren, Cedar and Juniper Jones; his daughters, Melanie and Christy Jones; his grandchildren, Corinne, Jack and Emery Kallio; his brothers, Jerry Jones (Ann) and Doug Jones; his brothers-in-law, Sandy Baxstrom (Jerri Lynn) and Jack Baxstrom (Janice); his daughter-in-law Jillian Jones; and his sister-in-law Deborah Baxstrom Reed. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
