With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James W. Hites of Wooster, Ohio, born in Millersburg, Ohio, who passed away on March 16, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard W. Hites and Ruth Pyers Hites; his siblings, Anna Williams, Doris Hites, Harold and Gary Hites; and his significant other Rita Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Billie Jo Clair of Wooster, James W. Hites, Jr. (Kristen) of Massillon and Daniel K. Hites of Shreve; his siblings, William Hites of Florida, Charles Hites (Carol) of Goshen, IN and Teresa Fulk of Wolf Lake, IN; his sister-in-law Mary Hites of Wooster; his grandchildren, Landon James Hites, Hunter Gary Hites, Aaron Hites and Christi Groah (John); his nephew Shane Hites of West Salem; his friends, Willard Hershberger of Wooster, Kim Fox of Wooster, Wayne of Wooster and Carol Smith of Wooster; Joselynn "Pickle" Hall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral cost.
