She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Uhler and Thelma Uhler (Gingery); her great grandchild Payton Feltner; and her brothers, Paul, Ronnie and Larry Uhler.
She is survived by: her daughter Liz; her son-in-law Rick Shaffer of Orrville; her son Alan; her daughter-in-law Kathy Smith of Orrville; her grandchildren, Erin Shaffer (Stewart Clark), Charlie (Erica Shaffer), Ashley Smith (Matt Feltner) and Tyler Smith; her great grandchildren, Adria, Harper, Henry Shaffer, Sutton and Cecelia Clark; her brother Dale; her sister-in-law Marilyn Uhler of Creston; and her sisters, Betty (Mike Sheppard) of Creston and Patricia Grosjean of Springfield.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Murray Funeral Home (173 S Main St, Creston, OH 44217). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691 who the family wishes to thank for the wonderful care they gave to Jan.
