He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Parks and Hazel Morris; his stepmother Nancy Parks; his brother Cliff Parks; his stepsiblings, Mark King and Lynn Buckland; and his stepnephew Steven Parks.

He is survived by: his sisters, Janice Gard and Linda Morris; and his children, Jimmy Garver, Scott Parks, Tyan Parks and Bridget. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
