She was predeceased by: her mother Deborah Simmons; her stepmother Sally Abbott; her stepsister Brenda Mintie; her grandparents, Elizabeth Phillabaum, Carl, Eileen Phillabaum, Bill and Mary Abbott; and her stepgrandmother Sara Welsh.

She is survived by: her brother Shawn Abbott (Bernadette) of North Olmsted; her niece Amanda Abbott; her stepbrother Brian Lawson (Sheila); and her aunts, Sandra Carpenter and Darby Baab.
