She was predeceased by: her parents, John A Thorley and Olive G Thorley (Rippeth); her husband Richard Scofield (Dick); and her children, David E. Starcher, John M. Starcher and Lois Jean.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sherri Muhlenkamp (Rick) of Wooster and John Starcher, Jr. (Erinn) of Palm Beach; her great grandchildren, Jennifer, Rachael Muhlenkamp and Reagan Starcher; and her caregivers, Dawn and Bob Stetzel.
