He was predeceased by: his parents, Phao Phompakdy and Khamdeng Phompakdy (Phommahaxay); and his siblings, Kadam Phommahaxy (Tick) and Phetsaboun Phomphakdy. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Phompakdy of Wooster, Ohio, Don Khongphattana (Chumpa) of Wooster, Ohio, Khone Caperton (Chris) of Orrvile, Ohio and Chun Mallady (Shawn) of Canton, Ohio; his grandchildren, Justin, Joey, Meena and Mooky; his great grandchild Kingston; his children, Narinh Khongphattana of Orrville, Phinh Khongphattana (Molly) of Orrville, Ninh Khongphattana-Cabahug (Antonio) of Conroe, Thinh Khongphattana (Rita) of Wadsworth, Beuy Khongphattana (Long) of Orrville and Bounneo Bannavong (Ang) of Kidron; and his siblings, Laokham Hansana (Sy) of British Columbia, Sangouanxay Phomphakdy of Seminole, Keo Dongsavanh of France and Sounsaveng Manivong (Bounthieng) of Melbourne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
