With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Max Hardesty Hinton of Wooster, Ohio, born in Marietta, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by : his parents, Pearly Hinton and Bernice Hardesty Hinton; his wife Bonnie Norman Hinton; his grandson Gary Hinton; and his brothers, William, Gene and Jerry Hinton.

He is survived by : his children, Jimmy Hinton (Janice) of Winter Springs, Mary J. Anderson (Russell) of Chandler, AZ and Tamela Swank of Wooster; his grandchildren, Aaron Swartzentruber (Pepper) of Ashland, Laura Rogers (Vincent) of Akron, Christopher Anderson (Julia) of Mesa, AZ, Jennifer Wilson (Robert) of Gilbert, AZ, James Hinton (Chrissy) of Orlando, FL, Cory Hinton of South Carolina, Tiffany Hinton of West Virginia, Kendra Long of Wooster, Benjamin Barker (Dawn) of Wooster and Candace Deffendall (Jason) of Wooster; his siblings, Sam Hinton of Wooster and June Vermillion of Ashland; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fickes Funeral Home (84 N High St, Jeromesville, OH 44840). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
