He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Kauffman and Emma G. Meyer Kauffman; his wife Janet Zimmerman; and his siblings, Cecilia Bowman, Mary Nueffer, John Kauffman, Leona Short, Victoria Kelley, Henry "Hank" Kauffman, George Kauffman, Walter Kauffman and Helen Kauffman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home (216 E Larwill St, Wooster, OH 44691). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (527 Beall Ave, Wooster, OH 44691).
