It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Dale Nussbaum of Wooster, Ohio, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Nussbaum and Wanda Nussbaum (Shane); and his siblings, Audrey Lynn Smith and Robert Nussbaum. He is survived by: his wife Marla Hostetler; his children, Brandon Nussbaum of Elyria, Brandy Trunko (Michael) of North Ridgeville, Andy Badertscher (Jen) of Wooster and Sarah Nussbaum of Orrville; his grandchildren, Isaac, Jadon, Mikayla and Natalie Trunko; his children, Maryn Sutter (Matthew), Eily, Drew, Joe Badertscher and Jaaron Nussbaum; his siblings, Roger Nussbaum (Jan) of Orrville, Gene Nussbaum (Amy) of Orrville and Bonnie Hodge (Tom) of Orrville; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Nussbaum of Orrville and Lanier Smith of Parker, Arizona..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smithville Mennonite Church (6097 Akron Rd, Smithville, OH 44677). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
