He was predeceased by: his spouse Ellyn Griffin; and his sisters, Corrine Elliot (Dwight), Regina Knight (Robert Drouhard), Joyce Chenevey (Mel), Joanie Schafer, Jacqueline Docherty and Elaine Forrer.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynne Norwood (Terrie) of Wooster, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Walter Norwood and Ashley Ewing.
