With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruthella Zimmerly in Wooster, Ohio, who passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Sprunger and Ella Sprunger (Amstutz); and her siblings, Ira Sprunger (Kathleen), Martha Daugherty (Al), Leora Jones (Dave), Dorothy Sprunger and Delbert Sprunger (Donna).
She is survived by: her husband Wilbur Zimmerly; her daughters, Barbara Ann Dunn (Robert), Rebecca Bothel (Doug) and Julia Zaleski (Stephen); her granddaughters, Brenda Bothel-Hammond (Candida) and Debbie Terrell (Justin) of La Mesa, CA.; and her great grandchildren, Bailey Smith Dailey of Kent, Colin, Isaac Dailey of Calcutta, Avery, Reagan, Reese Zaleski of Dalton, Braylen, Maxton Terrell of La Mesa, CA, Ivan Grassman of Jeromesville and Magdalene Effner of Medina.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church (300 S Walnut St, Orrville, OH 44667). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
