He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Hostetler and Lizzie Hostetler (Miller); his wife Josefina; his son Joshua Hostetler; and his siblings, Noah, Mahlon, Eli, Abe, Nelson, Erma Franks, Polly Sender, Lizzie Ann Hostetler, Susan Mast and Melinda Baum.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Mays (Michael), Jonas Hostetler and Jessica Hostetler (Christopher Kerzan); his grandsons, Devin Mays and Joshua Hostetler; his great grandchild Paige Mays; and his siblings, Jonas Hostetler Jr., Elma Troyer and Dora Debord. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
