He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Harrison "Mickey" and Mary Helen McCracken (Sidener); his wife Jean Elizabeth McCracken; and his children, Rebecca Lenor McCracken and Stephen Dale McCracken.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Lou Winters of Sandford and Judith Ann Lowry of Terre Haute, Indiana; his children, Daniel Vernon McCracken (Tamara Charest) of Bremen, Georgia, Elizabeth Lucile McCracken-Harness and Esther Elaine Hawkins (Paul David Hawkins) of Wooster, Ohio; his child-in-law María Milagros Vásquez Aguilar of Tucker, Georgia; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Seth, Samuel, Jonathan, James, Alexander, Ian, André Tomás and Katherine; his great grandchildren, Conner, Kaleb, Jordan and Hanna; and his great great grandchildren, Wesley, Riley and Amelia.
