He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy C. Smith and Elvira Steenstra Smith; his sister Janice Wasson (Richard); and his brother-in-law James Leggett. He is survived by: his wife Carol Celke; his children, Kelly Riley (Brannon) of Creston and David Smith (Tiffany) of Roswell, GA; his grandchildren, Stone, Rory and Jake; and his sister Rita Leggett of Moreland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
