He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Godwin and Mildred Johnston Godwin; and his siblings, Paul Godwin Jr. and Hope Godwin. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Jones Godwin; his children, Aaron Godwin (Jamie), Sarah Leathley (Bob) and Anna Godwin; and his grandchildren, Michael Godwin, Stephen Godwin, Christopher Godwin, Ben Leathley and Hannah Leathley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Joy Baptist Church (11095 Old Lincoln Way E, Orrville, OH 44667). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
