He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel A. Plott and Ella Mae Plott (Gutermuth); his brothers, A. Eugene Plott and Allen Plott; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Plott and Vernon Stansbery; and his niece Charlotte Stoneburner.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Plott (Karg); his daughters, Renae Clements (Kevin), Janine Gilliland (JJ Rall) and Rhonda Plott-Frost (Andy Gile); his grandchildren, Caleb Harris (Sarah), Jarrod Gilliland (Rene Heffelfinger) and Megan Frost (Mason Clouse); his great grandchild Cooper Jameson Harris; and his sister Vera Stansbery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wyandot Classics and Cruisers, Upper Sandusky in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
