For Alfred is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur McDaniel and Ellen McDaniel (Hellard); his wife Arnetta McDaniel (Barrett); his daughter-in-law Linda Ramey McDaniel; and his stepsons, Louis Barton (LB) and Douglas Barrett.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Minton of Xenia, Alfred McDaniel, Jr. (Carolyn) and Gary McDaniel; and his stepdaughter Edna Shephard of Arizona. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the McColaugh Massie Funeral Home, Inc. (826 N Detroit St, Xenia, OH 45385). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37860).
