He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Delaney and Clara Conley Delaney; and his sons, Glenn, Lester, Chester, Willard, Floyd, Bobby and Lamar.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Delaney (Jones); his grandchildren, Hillary Schleich (Cameron), Samantha Carlson (Alex), Ian Delaney, Megan Delaney and Morghan Delaney; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Benjamin, Grayson and Mia; his sisters-in-law, Luwanna Dawkins, Katherine Delaney, Betty Delaney and Evelyn Delaney; and his friend James Gable. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; generations of church family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at the First Church of Christ (441 Ledbetter Rd, Xenia, OH 45385).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be directed to the First Church of Christ BUCKETS OF HOPE, extending Bobby's legacy of showing up for people by helping meet needs throughout the Xenia community.
