We bid farewell to Cheryl Louise Knisley of Xenia, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Cheryl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Samson and Virginia Kathryne Howell Samson; her son Marcus Childress; and her sister Sandra Rase. She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Knisley; her stepchildren, Lynne Marie Sorneson (Loren), Amy Hall (Debbie Wagner), Carey Hale (Alan), Dan Knisley (Sharon), Brian Knisley, Craig Knisley (Andrea) and Ethan Robert Knisley (Erin); and her brother-in-law Gerald C. Knisley (Glenna). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dayton Avenue Baptist Church, 1121 Dayton Ave., Xenia, OH, 45385, the Xenia Hospitality Chorus, c/o First Church of Christ, 441 Ledbetter Rd., Xenia, OH, 45385, or to a favorite charity in her memory.
