With heavy hearts, we announce the death of DDS David W. Crandall of Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joan Crandall (Iseley) and William W. Crandall; and his brother-in-law David Brantley. He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth L. Brantley "Betsy" Crandall; his children, Lauren Brill (Ian) of Warrenton, VA, Brant Crandall (Natalie) of Rockwall, TX and Hayley Crandall of Kettering; his grandchildren, Scarlett Brill, Jacob, Mila and Jett Crandall; his sister Jan Crandall of Cincinnati; and his sisters-in-law, Janine Montgomery (Brian) of Xenia and Ruby Brantley of Leesburg, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that in honor of this much loved man, donations be made to a favorite charity, provide an act of kindness to someone in need, or share some smiles and laughter, or even a prank with a friend.

“My family and I were shocked and extremely saddened to hear of Dr. Crandall's passing. He was the best dentist we have ever had and one of the friendliest and uplifting personalities to have ever been in my life. He was a bright light in a much too often dark world. Our sincere sympathy and condolences to all of his family and his work family at the office.”
