Edward L. Wingard Obituary

We announce the death of Edward L. Wingard (Xenia, Ohio), who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 89. Edward will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Wingard and Alice Wingard; and his brother Jesse Roy Wingard. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Wingard of Xenia, Ohio; his sons, Curtis Wingard (Gayle) of Xenia, Ohio, Mark Wingard (Debra) of Gastonia and Brian Wingard of New Orleans, Louisiana; his grandson Jason Wingard of Gastonia; his son Shawn Wingard of Houston, Texas; his great grandchild Amira Wingard of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Lela Hughes (Thomas) of Somerset, Lanette Wingard of Atlanta, Georgia, Levi Wingard (Marcellene) of Exton, Pennsylvania and Stella Wingard of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his sister-in-law Marline Wingard of Ringgold, Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
