With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva R. Adkins of Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Lykins and Alberta Lykins (Lewis); her husband Joe Adkins; and her brother Eddie Lykins. She is survived by: her children, LaVern Sexton (Donald G.), John Adkins, David Adkins (Tina) and Paul Adkins; her grandchildren, Jarrod Sexton, Jennifer Kautz (Michael), Chris Adkins, Jessica Davidson (Aaron), John Adkins Jr., Lindsey Adkins, Sam Adkins and Maygan Smith (Edward); and her half-sister Helen Rothberg. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McColaugh Funeral Home (826 N Detroit St, Xenia, OH 45385). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
