He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald B. Smith and Vera E. Smith (McColaugh); his brothers, Richard Smith and David Smith; and his brother-in-law Paul Hackworth.
He is survived by: his sisters, Jane Hackworth of London and Carole Fraver (Jerry) of Xenia; his sister-in-law Carla Smith of Xenia; and his nieces and nephews, Pamela Hurley, Jennifer Robinette (Steve), Matthew Fraver, Andrea Moore (Dave) and Sarah Lovely (Kevon).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McColaugh Massie Funeral Home, Inc. (826 N Detroit St, Xenia, OH 45385). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
He had a very generous heart, donating to various charities throughout his life. His family asks that donations be made in lieu of flowers, to your favorite charity in his memory.
