He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Turner and Muriel Turner (Fair); his siblings, Muriel Curry, Judy Kiger, Carolyn Mountjoy, Robert Turner, Keith Turner and Loren Turner; his stepmother Garnet Turner; and his grandson Brennon Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann (Shoup); his children, Marcus Turner (Diane), Christy Gregory (Cleve), Julie Hamilton (Paul) and Robyn Caupp; and his siblings, Bonnie Kiger (Dion), Kathy Hill, Joy Hill, Louis Turner (Ealon), Phil Turner (Judy) and Steve Turner (Lisa). He is also survived by his wife of 70 years, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Church of Christ (441 Ledbetter Rd, Xenia, OH 45385). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
