She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Hendee and Mary Hendee (Middleton); and her brothers-in-law, Russ Harris, Charles Merriman and William Glen Merriman, Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Jeanie Gilmore (Neil) and Jerry Merriman (Cyndi); her grandchildren, Julie Kelley (Tim) of Liberty, IN, Jared Merriman (Liz), Phillip Gilmore (Kristy), Becky Labadie (Matthew) and Kettering; her great grandchildren, Coleton, Makenna, James, Lyla and Edna Joy; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Harris, Sue Morris (Paul) and Thomas Merriman (Janet). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and by many close friends.
