With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcella Jeanne (Rutherford) Helgeson of Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Goldie Rutherford and Elbridge Rutherford; her husband Eugene W. Helgeson; and her child Jerry Helgeson (Bobbi Ann) of Lancaster, SC.. She is survived by : her sons, David Helgeson (Sandy) of Indian Lake, OH, Steven Helgeson of Olympia, WA and Christopher Helgeson (Jeanne) of Norwalk, OH.; and her grandchildren, Marcella Tyree, Emily Swift, Andrew Helgeson, Katherine Cramer, Shelly Helgeson Wise, Heather Nadolny, Heidi Hovestaedt, Christopher Helgeson, Jr., Ashley Helgeson and Robert Helgeson. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and close friends.
