With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn June Werner of Xenia, Ohio, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred B. Werner; her parents, Roscoe W. Sturgeon and Grace Alma Sturgeon; her siblings, Wayne Sturgeon, Jackie Snodgrass and Doris Michael; her stepsons, Jim Werner and Merrill Werner (Genny); and her close friend Leon Foley.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Strickland (Kenneth), Carol Jean Huff (Richard) and Gary Lee Johnson; her stepson Bill Werner (Judy); her grandchildren, Misty Strickland, Kenny Strickland, Julie Duzak and David Huff; her great grandchildren, Madison, Grace, Owen, Olivia, Evan and Colin; her sisters, Patricia Benson and Judy Inwood; and her close friends, Rosemary Foley and Paul Story. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
