He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Herold and Theresa Herold (Reiner); and his siblings, Florence, Edward and Arthur Herold.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Schroeder); his children, Angela Marie Ashbeck (William), Ted Herold (Brigid) and Tracy Danhoffer (Jeff); his grandchildren, Nate (Kelli), Danny Ashbeck, Jesse (Morgan), Morgan Herold, Rebecca Danhoffer (Kyle Anderson) and Evin Danhoffer (Tamara); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Gabby, Alex, Zelda, Luna Ashbeck, Rowan and Asher Herold; and his pet Lenny.
