She is survived by: her husband Frederick Bartenstein III; her daughters, Melissa Dillon of Beavercreek and Anna Bartenstein; her grandchildren, Zachary, Calista, Marshal and Leonardo; her great grandchild Anthony; and her sisters, Kathleen Stewart and Susan Smith.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Joy to the Dayton, Yellow Springs, or Springfield community foundations.
