She is survived by: her daughters, Tana Peterson (Brian Douthy) and Kristen Gomes (Michael); her grandchildren, Yanna Warfield (Ryan), Roice Sheley (Jackie Swartz), Alissa Sheley, Jeffrey Sheley (Shelby) and Deja Peterson (Emma Durfee); her great grandchildren, Kaden, Emmitt, Chloe, Selah and Serena; her brother Jeffrey Wixson; her sibling's children, Jason Mitchell and Jasmyn Wixson (Mocha); and her family, Bryan Peterson, Tony Fambro, Amy, Jennifer Jackson, Maureen Mitchell, Lisa Hamilton, Maria Prether, Krista Slessman, Ronnette Norris, George and Tikal Gray.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home (830 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503).
She often said, "Peace be the journey," "Cool runnings," and with a sweet farewell, "Bye bye, sweetie pie."In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to: Friends Care Community, Ohio Hospice, City of Hope (formerly Cancer Treatment Centers of America), or the American Cancer Society.
