It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Handzlik (Youngstown, Ohio), who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Alfred departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Alfred may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Alfred leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his brother Walter; and his brother-in-law Jim Ciccone. He is survived by: his wife Marion Harahuc; his son Gary Handzlik (Mary) of Cortland; his sister Christine Ciccone of Sharon; his grandchildren, Jessica Rothrock (Allen) and Tyler Handzlik; his great grandchild Shane Rothrock; and his nephews, Jim Ciccone (Jean), Paul Harahuc (Gwynn) and Michael Harahuc.
