She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Shannon and Nicey Connors Shannon; and her husband Albert Ross. She is survived by: her children, Mary Jean Vines and Michael Ross Sr.; her grandchildren, Michelle, Tyrell, Michael Jr., Maurice Rashad, Marquan and Tyree; her great grandchildren, Ce'Yanni, Joel, Tiana, Josh, Micah, Mariah and Jasmi; her great great grandchildren, Christian, Channel and E'Zaria; her nephew-in-law Larry Arthur Jones; her niece-in-law Rita Riddle; her son Albert Lavell Ross; her grandchildren, Kim Thomas, Marcus Patmon, Amerah and Iris; her nephews, Charles Mills, Antwon "Tony" Mills and Lee Henry Morris; and her siblings, Early, Jefferson Shannon, Clara Munn, Hester Draper, Ester Brown, Annie Kilpatrick and Clementine Mills. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mt Zion Baptist Church (827 Wilson Ave, Youngstown, OH 44506). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
