He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Lakatos and Irene Puli Lakatos; and his brother Richard Lakatos. He is survived by: his wife Julia Evankovich; his children, Rebecca Lakatos and Andrew J. Lakatos Jr. (Stephanie); and his grandsons, Nicholas and Alexzander Lakatos.
