She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Sr. Benford and Bertha Gibbs Benford; her husband George Betters; and her siblings, Betty Hodge, Dorothy Ricketts, Clement G. Benford, Paul L. Benford and Charles L. Benford Jr..

She is survived by : her nephew Philip (Catherine Hodge) of Hubbard, OH; her niece Lynette Murry; and also Rosa Adams. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Phillips Chapel Cme Church (718 Albert St, Youngstown, OH 44505). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
