Barbara Vouvalis Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 8, 2026, at the age of 93, Barbara Vouvalis of Youngstown, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Mays and Aristea Mays (Arseniou); her husband John Vouvalis; her son Charles; and her siblings, Mike, William, George, Spiro Mays, Bessie Thomas, Julia Koulaxizes, Stella Michelakis, Virginia Mays and Helen Lubic.

She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Vouvalis (Grace) of Spring Hill, FL, Anna and Aristea of Youngstown; her grandchildren, Anastasia Delcik (Dario), Eleni Bates and Christopher Vouvalis (Alexandra); her great grandchildren, Elijah, Evander Bates, Nektaria and Isidora Vouvalis; her siblings, Chris Mays, Pete Mays (Kathy), Harry Mays and Doris Giancola; and her friends, Doug Grant (Bridget), Rich Pallotta and Denise DeGise. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
