She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Makar and Katherine Makar (Lucic); her siblings, Rose Missick and George Makar; her great grandchild Andrew Tusin; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Tusin.
She is survived by: her children, William Tusin (Jeanette), Kathy Tusin-Mell, Eileen Catanzaro (Joe) and Michael Tusin (Linda); her grandchildren, William "Scott" Tusin of William, Tusin III, Victoria Weiss, Laura Holt, Joseph Catanzaro Jr., Michael Tusin Jr. and Brian Tusin; her sister Barbara Dunlap; and her husband William Tusin Sr.. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Caroline's family suggests memorial contributions be made to Affinity Hospice.
