It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolynn I Dietz (Youngstown, Ohio), born in North Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Orson and Irene Murphy Beard; her significant other Dr. George H. Dietz; her son Peter Beard Dietz; her siblings, Russell Beard, Donna Ruud, Bethelee Kordecki and Patricia Kroes; and her brother-in-law Robert Dietz.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Saunders (Evan) of Columbus, Carrie Dietz of Columbus, George Dietz Jr. of Boardman, Dr. Andrew Dietz (Betsy) of Marlton, Attorney James Dietz (Denise) of Canfield and Christopher Dietz (Deana) of Columbus; and her grandchildren, James Dietz Jr., Luke Dietz, Fiona Carolynn Dietz and Alexander Dietz.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any contribution be made to National Church Residences Hospice, 681 E. Third St., Waverly, OH 45690 or St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church in Youngstown, in Carolynn's memory.
