He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Lightner and Irene Lightner (Galmish); his wife Margie Lightner (Gould); his brothers, Richard Lightner and Albert Lightner; and his pets, Sandy, Buffy, Ginger and Char.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Erin Johnson; his son Jim Lightner (Antonietta); his grandchildren, Anthony, Makayla, Markyra and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Za'nova, Ki'laya and Na'es; his sister Geri Sopkovich; and his pet Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
